Every time I go to the store to find a low calorie drink, there's either aspartame or sucralose in it (I find both ingredients to be bad for your body)! Is there a drink out there that has a low amount of calories and no sucralose or aspartame in it? Does such a drink exist? LOL!

To those of you who said water, yes, yes, I'm aware that water exists, but it's nice to drink something else every once in awhile! ;)

Good for you ! You' re making the right choice !
I looked up 'aspertame disease' on Google Search about 11/2 yrs. ago . It' s really bad stuff . Doctors mis-diagnose aspertame disease when a patient has overdone it on diet products . The doctor thinks you have multiple sclerosis !
And , you know , I really have not found any diet products without aspertame . What I do , in the usage of Coca-Cola , is just buy the regular coke .... no aspertame ! I also made a change when grocery shopping . I used to buy a case of Coke on a weekly basis for my son and I . Now , I buy 12 cans of Coke and 12 cans of Minute Maid Apple Juice .
All the low-cal sweeteners are loaded with aspertame , too . The sad part , really sad part , is that the F.D.A. in the U.S. won't ban aspertame from all food products and they' ve already been given proven statistics about the dangers of aspertame . How lame ! .... putting people's health at risk .... on purpose !

The Mexican Coca-cola is sweetened with cane sugar (not high-fructose corn syrup). You can buy it at Mexican grocery stores across the U.S. (or just do a Google search and order some off eBay or something). Natural sugar in small, conservative quantities can't be beat and isn't all that bad for you (not any worse systemically than the caffeine that's in everything, anyway).

Well, or you can get what everyone else has been saying: water, coffee, tea, fruit drinks, possibly Gatorade (not sure on that one). Oh, and you can also make your own Kool-Aid - it has no sugar to start - just add your own cane sugar - I've realized that I can reduce it down to 3/4 cup sugar + 2 packets Kool Aid (I like to mix the flavors) per pitcher. Spread out over a glass at a time, and that's something like a tablespoon of sugar per glass (you could also probably make it per glass, yourself). I think a tablespoon of real sugar has something like 20 calories in it - and no bad side effects (other than tooth decay - just brush your teeth). ;-D

But, really, if you're looking for flaws in things, you're going to find them. No product is perfect - just take it easy. Drink a small glass of non-diet soda and it'll be around 90 calories - not bad as a meal accompaniment when on a reasonable 1200 cal/day diet (that's my max daily calorie intake as a petite woman). Otherwise, water really is the best thing out there.

Good luck!

Energy drinks in general are very bad for you. They are so packed full of energy boosters like caffeine and guarana, and excess of both is bad for your health, it dehydrates you. They're packed with sodium, and aspartame (in this case)

some flavored water... look for ones that have citric acid
or you could try organic foods.. they sometimes have things that are better for you as far as sweetner
also try something (not sure if it is in drinks but you can buy it as is) called stevia.. it is a plant derived sweetner and is usually with either the sugar products or i find it sometimes with the tea bags.... i have never had it in anything.... my mom uses it though and she says it is pretty good
or you could jsut drink stuff with spledna.....better than aspertame... but i think its sucralose.. i dunno.... just use them spraingly
or good old fashioned h2o!
