okay im 5 10 and my boyfriend is the exact same height and it sucks sometimes because i see him checking out so many girls and all of them are around 5 5 or shorter. my point is if he thinks a girl is sexy the girl will 99.9% be short. so why is he with me. he makes me feel weird about my height and i just hide that it affects me because i know he doesnt like that. i just dont know why every guy i'm with never truely likes me. i even get told that i would be super hot if i would only shrink. why dont guys like tall girls? i dont like any sugar coated answers. i like the truth :]

im so sick of this kind of thing, when will people finally realize that its not how tall a person is, or how big of chest or any other part of the human anatomy a person has, LOOKS ARE CONSTANTLY CHANGING!!!!! nobody looks the same at 17 as they did at 12, and they aint gonna look the same at 33 as they did at 17, so get over it, its about whats on the inside that counts. until people figure that out, this dumb idea of tall girls being bad isnt gonna get any better. personally i dont care if a girl is 4' 1" or 6' 3" im more concerned with personality. but thats just my perspective, the rest of the male population of the planet earth is entitled to their own views on the subject.

Sorry about that, I feel for you. I had a a very tall girl friend (not girlfriend) in college and she hated it. Let's face it, it a natural power and confidence thing and not exclusively cross sexes.

Women generally want powerful men so they tend to prefer taller. Men want to be protective of their women and the smaller a women is, the more protecting she seems to need.

Plus most taller ladies HATE dating smaller men so the number of guys that they can select from is much smaller than for the petite women. Men may talk a lot of smack about wanting a 6 foot blond but almost all men Ive even met are scared out of their minds by one. Real life doesnt work like a porn flick.

Many more men prefer smallish or petite women, that's a fact but that does not reflect the choices of all men. You will just have to live with that. If you're confident and into yourself, keep wearing the high heels, be who you are and guys will see that so you will attract the right one. Do not lower your standards. If it really bothers you (sorry ladies this advice is NOT sexist) then avoid very high heels, make sure you stay as thin as possible and dress in a fashion that doesn't accentuate your tall beauty.

so my boyfriend is like 6 inches shorter than me (i'm five eleven ) and i don't really care. he doesnt have a problem with it, and neither do i. guys like tall girls because it makes up for their shortness, makes them feel more manly, that hey, i got this super hot amazon chick. it also makes people think, omg why is this girl with this guy? he must either be...good in bed, rich, or an awesome guy. so basically, i just think it's a matter of preference. once you find a guy that you truly love, it shouldnt be about something stupid like height. i mean, when you're sitting, you're like the same height right? so there you go. don't worry about it. it's all good.

Plain and simple? Men equate height with power and they don't like feeling like the woman is towering over them. It makes them feel weak somehow even though that is silly. Look at Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. She's MUCH taller than he is but he seems completely fine with it. If I were you, I would date a guy who is at least 6'0 but I'd go for the guys who are 6'2 or something. That way, he can still keep his fragile ego in tact by being taller than you. Your current bf shouldn't be checking out girls in front of you in the first place. That's completely rude and disrespectful of you. And the fact that you don't even feel like you can be honest w/ your feelings because of how HE might react? Please! How often are you betraying yourself in order to be with him?

A lot of guys think tall girls are sexy , like models , but guys also like to be the big tough guy , and i doesn't seam that way if smaller , or shorter then your girlfriend , guys like to feel like the protector for the damsel in distress , night in shinning armour , and being shorter makes them feel like there little men .

i love long legs , send me your phone # lol

Sometimes they are intimidated if a girl is taller than them. Guys want girls that are shorter so they can look down instead of look up. After all, it should be that way right? But my friends are dating and she's 5 inches taller than him. It's kinda cute.

tallness is kinda like a sign of level-ship. sorry the words not in my mind right now.

it challenges their manhood because a shorter girl is easier to have control over.

but i wouldnt worry im sure when u find ur man height wont matter. maybe he'll be the one thats 5'5.
hahah just saying

A lot of us men feels like a woman's height can be a potential threat to our manhood. It makes a lot of us feel less masculine. With me, I don't care. As long as she is attractive and has a great personality, that's all that matters to me.
