I think a person can come relatively close. Going to the profile page is one way, but they may not have much of a profile listed and/or, what they have listed may not be the total truth. I think the more grammatical errors would indicate a younger person. Outlandish, stupid, degrading remarks and statements could also indicate an under educated mind, young, or simply being a nuisance. The more accurate, informative, respectful comments and questions, seem to come from a little better educated person. I assume that also means they are a little older, more respectful, and trying to give an honest, helpful answer. This is just my take on the situation. I could be wrong.

I'd guess the majority under 22 by just how they respond. Foul language alone is a sure sign of a immature person, even if older age.
Like they say... age is but a number. Maturity is what defines wisdom. Normally it is pretty easy to spot what age a person is.

If they type in "text" (U know?), they're pretty easily pegged as teenagers; so are those who like to post questions involving certain body parts or what one does with them. "Really old" geezers like me are fairly easy to spot, too, even if we don't have a name like "Granny" (pretty much gives it away) or put gray hair on our avatars. For everybody in between, the best I can do is guess a decade -- as in 30-something -- based on context cues.
Now if someone will just define where "really old" starts, I will tell my age ... if it's younger.

no...well only a few.
There have been little clues that they have given regarding lifestyle and past that I have been able to do a pretty good guess of thier age.

I know the exact ages of like 4 or 5 of them. Sometimes I recognize if they are kids (like in their early teens), teens, or adult

Sometimes, but I am often surprised at the intelligent & thoughtful answers of some young users, as well as the ignorant, inane answers of some older users.
EDIT: Sure! lol I bet you can can get very close. :))

Generally, I can tell if it is some kid just being a pain.... If it is a serious question, I can't... unless they say something like "in school, someone said..."
I can tell if someone is a "baby Christian"... meaning they just converted or got saved.
