The legend of the 7 lives of the cat seems to have piqued your interest. In one Legend, the souls of people who are lost are kept in the feline spirit for protection until they can find their way... thus the belief that cats are half in the spirit world all of the time (which is why they make such darn good Familiars). The soul is attracted to the part of the cat that is in transition and kept there until the spirit is willing to accept their path...

its not possible. the bible said "it is appointed unto man once to die and after that the judgement of God will follow". you also have to note that the soul of human dont die what happens is if you have lived well on earth you go and be with the Lord BUT if you have lived a live of iniquities (sinful) you will be condemed and thrown into the lake of fire (hell).
