Take a pin a poke a small hole in the larger end of the eggs to to depressurise the egg. This keeps them from becoming little egg bombs. Set eggs on a folded paper towel in the microwave, to keep from rolling around.

Cook on high for EXACTLY 2 and 1/2 minutes. When the timer stops take the eggs out and let stand for about 15-20 minutes at room temp.

If you intend to boil eggs frequently invest in a special microwave egg cooker, for example http://www.bizrate.com/eggcookers/products__keyword--microwave+egg+cooker__kw--microwave+egg+cooker__qcid--5415284.html . This looks like an egg cup with a lid which is metal (I think aluminium) on the inside, for one or several eggs. Puncture egg(s) with a pin in the broad end, fill gadget with water to the fill line, then microwave. The gadget should have instructions re cooking time for soft, medium and hard, and of course this is a matter of taste.

Crack egg.
Put egg white and yoke into microwave safe dish.
Add a few ounces of water.
Put into microwave.
Turn microwave on untill the egg is the way you like it.

Or, put egg into container with a hole in the end of the egg shell. Give that one a try. Might be easier then we thought.

You stand them on end (as in a cup) and puncture a hole in the top with a knife tip. Actually, cooking eggs in a microwave is fairly tricky and a better way is to melt some butter in a bowl, crack the egg(s) into the bowl, and fry/poach them. Really needs a turntable and close attention.
