My Dad and I are building a Mini Stock (aka factory four) and I was wondering what kind of car you think would be the best to get. It has to be 4 cyl, and 5 speed. So far we were told Dodge Neons were zippy little cars and easy to find parts for too! We want something that we can get new parts fairly easily so we can fix it when it breaks. Any ideas welcome! Thanks!

Does it need to be front wheel drive or rear wheel drive? Mustangs make great rear wheel drive race cars. Parts and pieces are everywhere. For front wheel drive I'd find a Honda that meets the rules. It's hard to beat a Honda. These cars also have a ton of aftermarket parts available.

I would use A mustang.....if you can do any mods, you can pick up some esslinger parts. A front wheel drive I would see about a toyota with a good R-22 in it. Hondas are good top end cars.if it's dirt, i would get a rear wheel drive if possible, due to the fact that a front drive car will push like a dump truck.

The Prelude is good for that kind of racing.
