Being gay is not a sin.
Homophobia is a very great sin. It leads to harm, harrassment, violence and even murder of gay people. Christ tells us one of the most important commandments is to treat others as we want to be treated. Harming others is not treating others as we want to be treated; therefore, homophobia is sinful and immoral. Those who try to relabel homophobia as "love" are making a liar out of Christ.

Neither. Homophobia (fear of seeing blood) is not a sin. And if homosexuality were a sin, God would not have called so many gay men to the priesthood.

I believe that he who is without sin should cast the first stone and decide which is sin is worse. I have enough of my own problems to worry about than to sit as a judge of people's behavior.
If there is no sin in the inborn desires of a homosexual, how can there be sin in the inborn fear of the homophobic? Where do you draw the line, and whose human nature is wicked, when they are in fact both human nature?

Undoubtedly any phobia is worse for a person...
Although I don't necessarily believe in sin - I do believe that hatred and ignorance are bad things to have around...
I also enjoy the company of gay and lesbian people... I have always found acceptance and love in the gay community.
Not so much the same with some other groups.

All sins are equal in the sight of God; although I believe homophobia is worse.

Homophobia now doesnt mean fear but it actually means hate....I personally dunno how a person can fear another person coz they sleep with the same sex lmao its jus too funny and those people must be real wusses! Not everyone has a "fear" of homosexuals which just shows that those few that do are pussys....no offence...what the hell is there to be scared of?
And you should never hate a person for what they do in their private life....
"hate the sin not the sinner"..isnt that what they say ?
If you dont like the thought of sleeping with a person from the same sex thats fine, but it doesnt give u a reason to hate someone.
I dont like the thought of people sleeping around with many people randomly but i have a few friends who do it..and i dont hate my friends...i dont like what they are doing yeah but it doesnt give me a reason to hate them...
Only hate someone for what they do to you! if they treat u bad...and do bad things to U..than thats a legitimate reason to dislike them....but to hate them for what they like to do in their personal time..even if u dont agree with it..its full of ****!
Hatrit is a bigger sin them homosexuality coz homosexuality is about love and homophobia is about hate. :)
Love isnt a sin.

I think you meant you don't believe the former is a sin, but if you meant latter, I won't correct you.
I don't believe ANY phobia is a sin. A phobia is defined as a real fear, whether rational or irrational. I think it's an irrational fear, but it's valid.
And I do believe homosexuality is a sin, so of the two, it would also make it the greater sin in my viewpoint.

A phobia is an irrational fear. That is not a sin. And I don't even know if homosex is a sin either since I am not the judge on such matters. You know what buddy, if you are gay, who the f@ck cares? You don't need to explain or justify your lifestyle to anybody. Who the f%ck are we to judge you?

Homophobia hurts - and even kills. Homosexuality is a sexual orientation; there's nothing good or bad about it.
It's like asking which is the greater evil, racism or being black?

Neither is a sin, they are a state of mind. A homosexual is so because that is how they developed. That is how their brain is wired.
A Homophobe is nurtured into that state of mind by their family, friends and other developmental influences.
Wow - this is really nature versus nurture now!
