Because that's what your Father in heaven has done for you. You broke His law and the penalty is death, so He became a man and paid that penalty for you so that you could have eternal life with him. Will you receive the free gift of eternal life in Jesus Christ tonight? Please let me know so that I can pray for you.

Great analogy!
Only thing I'd change is that we received not just a speeding ticket, but the death penalty, and Jesus took that punishment for us.

To answer your first question, No. I've always had to use my own money to pay tickets.
:-)

Im a real man. If I broke a law, Im willing to pay the penalties.

Lets see if this is true or not - I dont suppose you have any proof, right?

Yeah, but does He also pay for the increase in your insurance premiums?

By the way, brethren, I used to be a born-again Christian during my teenage years. I've studied the Bible and taken several college courses in theology, so I have already walked in your shoes. But I eventually realized the following:

"All religions are equally sublime to the ignorant, useful to the politician, and ridiculous to the philosopher." - Lucretius, On the Nature of Things (classical Roman poet, 94 B.C.E. to 55 B.C.E.)

I stopped praying the day I realized I was just talking to myself.

Good Q,,keep it up! Like a boxing match,,the champion hands his cheque over to you,,Jesus defeated the devil and we get the benefits.
