I try to share my faith, not push or force my Christianity on others. Others will know by my faith that God is real. There are some Christians who do not live up to what they preach I understand. But not all are like that, I do take my own medicine and I am positive that I make Jesus proud of me.

1. No, not by MY definition of the word "push"...speaking out about my beliefs is not pushing nor is it pushing to answer a question another person asks. Even on Y!A, if you direct your question to "Atheists", I probably won't even read it...but if you post a general question related to my beliefs OR if you post a question directed at me (like this one), then you are asking for my input...that can't possibly be pushing! ...and most of the definitions of "push" imply the word "force"...I would never force someone to accept or even listen to my beliefs,

2. Can I take my own medicine...absolutely. How could I profess my right to speak about what I believe if I denied anyone else's right to do the same?

3. Am I sure? Yes, I can and have quite frequently engaged in honest, open, mutual discussions/debates with people that don't believe the same things I believe. As long as both are free to walk away, what's the problem with discussing differences in beliefs?

"Pushing" it would be counter-productive. But "offering" it is required of us.

The parable of the sower and the seed tells us all how to go about evangelizing. The seed (gospel of Christ) is good seed. I should neither add nor subtract from it. The sower (all Christians) sows the seed to everyone (road, rocks, shallow soil, thorns, good soil). Sometimes it grows and sometimes it doesn't - but the condition of the soil (the hearer's heart) is not dependent upon the sower - it's dependent upon the Creator.

This parable shows that those who are supposed to "get it", do. And those who aren't going to won't. If I "push" you into a false statement of faith, all that we end up with is a person with the label of "Christian", who does not act like what the bible says a Christian should be..... hmmm... I wonder how many of those kinds of "fake believers in name only" there are now.......?

No I don't push my beliefs on others. I share the news and if they want to know more thats great, if not, change of topic. Which medicine is it I am supposed to take, then?

I share my faith on those will listen. To those that don't want to hear it or talk about it, I respect that because I believe that does more harm then good.

It hasn't worked in the past.

It isn't working now.

It won't work in the future.

Give it a rest. For all of us, baby.
