Bibleman is a riot!
You have to love how the Atheist is always portrayed as some horrible mutated degenerate bent on destroying Wonderful Perfect Righteous Christian Society.
Although I saw a young child wearing a Bibleman cape in Wal-Mart the other day and I nearly cried... he probably believes everything he sees.

Every time I'm flipping channels, and I see that channel, I want to puke. Invariably, there's some older man or overly made-up woman imploring "Take Jesus into your heart. Send us money!"
However, it can be a little bit entertaining, when I need a reminder for why I hate organized religion :)

Honey, I'm a Christian, and not even *I* can stomach TBN. Maybe it's the fact that I'm Catholic, but all the ranting, hellfire-and-damnation televangelists and the constant begging for money gets on my last frayed little nerve.
Give me my nice quiet Mass any day.

I like to watch The 700 Club every now and then. It helps remind me why I was never *that* kind of Christian when I was a person of faith. Plus I invariably end up shaking my head a lot, and that helps loosen up my tense neck muscles.

no but i once had a christian radio station on my alarm clock. it used to make me really leap out of bed in the mornings to turn the darned thing off. unfortunately, i eventually became sensitised to it. not sure what TBN is exactly but i don't think we have anything that kooky on the air here.

What's the TBN channel? I don't watch it. I'm an atheist.

No Humbert, I can't do that even for the humor of it. Just don't think I could get that bored. Rather watch paint dry.

I only used to watch it when Jim Baaker ran it.
And I'm a believer, but he was a hoot! So was Ron Crouch!
