During basic you had curfew...be in bed at a certain time, lights out at a certain time.

In the regular service (Army) you do not have curfews. You are treated as an adult and can come and go as you please, so long as you make it to formation in the morning and are not showing up drunk or reeking of alcohol.

The barracks I lived in were 2 man rooms with the rooms having a bathroom and kitchenette and two seperate areas for you to sleep in and live.

Living in the barracks during some schools you do have a curfew, usually 10-11pm. Once you get in the fleet you have no curfew. You just have to be back in time for morning formation.

Once you are out of basic and tech school, there are no curfews unless the base you are on has them..and that is generally if there have been problems in the area and is not the norm.

In the AF you have a curfew in Tech school depending on what phase you are.

I think there are 4 phases now, it depends on how long you've been there and you must have leadership approve to move up.

Once you get to your first base there are no restrictions.

During basic training you will have lights out (in the Army), but when you get to your unit, you go to bed whenever you want unless you are stationed in europe or korea, then there are times when they dont let people on post during the night. but if you are stateside, you are a grown up, nobody tells you when to sleep as long as you can work the next day

entirely dependent on the command's policies. During school, for instance, you will most likely be required to be in the Barracks every night by a certain time.

Once you get into the real military, it will depend on your COs policy on the subject.

When you get done with your training and get to your first command all that curfew stuff should end.

Well there are people in the Service that only work nights so that should answer your question right there. I was a mids worker for my entire tour.
