Please no eating disorder lectures... I'm just wondering, how long would it take to lose 25 lbs if you ate nothing? Just a ballpark, I know it depends... looking for any answer?

About 2-3 weeks!
Careful! U might get a stomach flu! I once went a 2 weeks without eating, & if I felt like fainting I drank water or ate a cheese cub!

If you were say 130 pounds 5'6" say 15 years old. You'd
need about 1450 calories a day to stay the same weight. So if you ate nothing and stayed in bed all day you would burn 1450 calories a day theoretically . So I would guess at about a pound or so every 2.5 days so about 60 days. IF one takes water. The lengthiest period spent without solid food was 382 days. Of course a person would be too weak to function, The heart would suffer tremendous damage as well as the kidneys. If left untreated the body would probably not fully recover. A person may never be able to have children...just some of the fun but there's a number.
There are truly some things worse than death.

Depending on your metabolism, and a variety of other factors, it would be around 16 days. Assuming you lost 3 lbs each day for the first 3 days, then 1lb every day after that. If you're planning on fasting that long, you really need to talk to a doctor as it's INCREDIBLY dangerous, if not deadly if you don't know how to go about it properly.

Takes about 3 weeks without food to die. If you want to die sooner, try not drinking either -- three days without water will kill you.

A pound is about 3500 calories, so to lose 25 lbs you need to eat 87,500 fewer calories than usual. If you are currently eating about 2000 calories a day, then it will take 44 days or so to lose 25 lbs, that's about 6 weeks. If currently eating about 1000 calories a day it will take 87 days or about 3 months. Either way you will die before losing the weight.

it might take a month to a month and a half.. i personally am also trying to use this method to lose 25 lbs...
what im doing.. (so i dont die)
is for 3 days dont eaat aanything... drink milk and water tho and on the forth day have a bowl of yogurt for breakfast small meal at lunch and half a pack or instant oatmeal for dinner
and repeat
also you can drink diet coke and coffee
caffien helps lose weight
if you eat slowly also it makes you full fast=you wont eat as much on the forth day

yea, i would agree with topsey kretts, buuuut 3 weeks without food is lethal. literally. the human body cannot live without the 3 Threes: 3 weeks w/out food, 3 days w/out water, 3 min w/out air
