i'm turning 16 this october, and i was planning to get a job at chick-fil-a, reason being they offer scholarships, and i need all the help i can get for college, i'm sure i can keep my grades up, but my mom only wants me working on fridays and saturdays, i was thinking a few hours every day of the week, do you think i can handle it? also how old were you when you got your first job? and i'm a bit nervous any advice? thank you

I work at Chick-Fil-A. I am a manager here. I personally love my job! I think you should get one. I started there when I was 16 and still work there. It is a great place to work for and the scholarship is a great help. The only requirement to get it is that you work 2,000 total hours and you get a $1,000 scholarship!

Working every day is probably too much, Maybe one or at most two days during the week for a few hours, then some on weekends, would be enough.

I worked in the summer from the time I was 15, but during school year, started at 18.

well, after college studies, I got my first job at the age of 19.
