since this is your first offense go to court or ask the officer that wrote the ticket if its possible to go to traffic school on this one, they will completely do away with the ticket, and it wont go against you none at all, they should allow this if its your first ticket,it beats paying the ticket, and you,ll learn something from it also, good luck on getting it straitened out.

I certainly hope so. You better tell your parents before the legal system does. You probably just doubled your family's insurance bill and will probably be dropped from the policy.
But, on the other hand, did you stop to think what might have happened if a toddler would have wandered into the street in front of you??? You would then be facing a lot more serious charges than just reckless driving (anything above 15 mph over the limit). You could be facing up to negligent vehicular manslaughter if this had happened.
If I was your dad, .... well just say you better be glad you aren't.

You had best tell your Dad now. You'll want to get a lawyer and go to court and beg the judge to give you traffic school. If you just pay the ticket, then the ticket will go on your insurance. In our state, if you are 25 or more over the limit then you are supposed to lose your license.

good luck.

Since you are a relatively young driver, they may very well suspend your license. You made the choice to ignore the speed limit. If I was your dad, I'd take your license away.

That's 34 over! I doubt you can just pay it. You will most likly have to go to court. Yes your dad is going to kill you , I would! You just raised his insurance a huge amount! I hope you learned a lesson. And your lucky I am not your dad!
