Better dust off that bicycle.
Seriously, is there NOTHING at all you can think of that might mitigate the offense and convince the judge to cut a deal? Were you going downhill at the time, did the cop exaggerate your speed a little, is your speedometer defective, or is the average speed of traffic on that road usually higher than the posted limit? You can perhaps beg the judge for mercy and ask for traffic school. As for your dad, well, you can try telling him that the vast majority of guys your age drive way too fast from time to time (I sure know I did) and that you were merely being a teenager, it's just that his happened to get caught (on the other hand, that could just get you an extra wack for being a wise@ss). Good luck.

Dang! Glad I wasn't crossing the street while YOU were on it.
What would you appeal? You admit you were going over the speed limit.
You're young. Tell Dad. Let him kill you... more or less... pay the HUGE fine. LEARN THE LESSON before you kill yourself or a pedestrian.
You want to play with cars? Go to an arcade.
You want to live to see 18 and keep your license? Drive carefully. Pretend like you share the road with others.
64 in a 30!!! Sheesh!! What the &*%@$! were you thinking????

first- u are lucky that he/she (the officer) didnt take u to jail- u couldve been taken to jail for wreckless endangerment
second- what is there to argue about? (appeal)- its prob too many over to try to just do defensive driving
also why were u goin that fast? were u goin to the hospital or what possible reason would u have for going That fast? there are reasons behind speed limits- u could've killed urself
so while ur dad might be pissed better mad than upset bc he is burying u
i dont think they will take away ur license but hopefully ur dad will not allow u to use the car for a little while (and/or) make u pay him the $$ back

More than likely. It depends on what your state laws are. In ohio if you go 25 over the speed limit you will be sent to court. but if it doesnt say on ur ticket that you have to go to court just pay the fine. There's no way i would appeal that if i was going 64.

First off you should tell your dad because a parent has to go to court with you because you are a minor still. Second pay the ticket and you will just get points on your license.

Your license should get taken away, but it probably won't. My advice is that you start kissing your dad's a s s in hopes of him not having to call a meat wagon to pick you up when he's done with you.
You're a real jerk. Do you know how many people you put in danger?

you will have to go to court and pay the fine and they'll probably send you to driver retraining school. I don't think you'd lose your license but I'm not sure. I live in Connecticut and I heard Mass. is strict with laws,, especially DUI's. Be careful next time you go driving.. maybe you learned your lesson now.

You are correct: your Dad is going to kill you. Not only will he lose some trust in you, but his insurance rates will go up pretty steeply. But you probably won't lose your license.
Accept your punishment. Pay the ticket. Learn your lesson. And slow down. Getting there sooner is not worth dying (or killing) for.

You probably won't lose your license, but you'll get some "points" on it. If you get a certain number of points, you lose your license.
Your insurance is going to go up like crazy though.

you have to pay it, but your license wont get taken away, it just depends on how many points u have on your license already, but since it is your first offense you will be ok, oh by the way ... slow down.
