because all I ever wanted was to be a top singer..But recently i've been feeling down and feeling like I woldn't make it because I asked my friends to rate my singing on a scale of 1-10 but the highest I got was a 9 (only one person said that) other than that I got on average 7-8, or 6 -7.5, but the thing is this was all I ever could have seen my self doing...And now... I don't know what to do it's like if I do that I don't really want to do anything else in my life it's like give me the ablitiy to sing or give me death that's how serious I am/was about it..But I don't know What should I do!!!!: (

Sweet Pea a man can gain the whole world and loose his soul. if you let God do the increase in your life he will give your voice a magnificent 20. You have to believe in you. Alot of famous people was told they were crazy, they wasn't going to make it and etc, but you have to look past that negative spirit and know that you are somebody, Pick yourself up and i promise if you ask God to magnify your voice you will never be the same from this day on. There are millions of people with excellent voices who want to sing more than anything. Unfortunately, hitting the big time automatically only comes but to a few. Get a good education in something you can make a living at, keep singing in all the nice places where you can, invest time and money into what will help you develop singing career.

I still wouldn't sell my soul to the devil because being half as good as I could be would only make me want to do better. How can you do that if you allow the devil to take it away!
Besides, what your really asking is for permission to be so-so for now, while you practice and practice til you get to be the best YOU can be.

Don't do it, because it isn't worth it. Also, you already gave your soul to God if you are a Christian... would you take it back from Him and give it to Satan? I sure hope not!!
All I ever wanted to do was serve God and bring glory to Him, but I didn't get to do that in the ways that I wanted to. Still, I do not put my trust elsewhere, and I would NEVER sell my soul.
You should watch the movie: Amadeus. There is a man in that movie who's lifelong desire was to do nothing but be the best and most loved composer. He was good, but he was not mozart. Mozart was also a womanizer in this movie and the man could not understand why God would give such talent to Mozart. He turned against God because of it, but later he saw that he was blessed in ways that Mozart was not. Mozert dies at the end... as he was dying, the man helped mozart write his own reqiem mass. It became one of the most famous of his works.

If you don't know how to sing , then you will have to face reality. Isn't it better for someone to tell you the truth in private now, than to be on "American Idol" and get busted by Simon in front of 1000000 Americans ???
And to the other question , only a fool would sell His soul to the devil and be in eternity in hell !!!

So you will only have fame in your short life here on earth? God can open doors to your singing career but it does not come with the price that the devil will ask. Don't go there.

Nope not I. You know what you should do. Dig deep. Go to school and take music and vocal classes. Don't give up just know there are other ways to get where you are wanting to go. Practice, eat right and absorb everything they teach you. Praying for strength and guidance and you will be where you need to be. Positive thinking helps also.

If you believe in God you wouldn't even think about it. We christians know that we are only on this earth for a short while and that nothing on this earth is going to compare to Heaven. So it doesn't matter how good or bad life gets here. As long as we strive to be like Christ our rewards in Heaven on one day will outshine everything we accomplish in our entire lifetime here.

Don't just narrow down your dream to one occupation. Think of all the other great choices in the entertainment and recording industry. Get involved & who knows?....you'll be on your way someday.

noo I wouldn't my soul to the devil to be on the volleyball team.. okay your like 15.. your voice is still going to change and mature your voice can get better. If this is something you truly want to do practice pakes perfect babe =] just keep goin' at it if it's what your heart wants.. =D
