You cant prevent it, global warming is a natural cycle that the earth has gone through for millions of years. The earth will cool again and then get warm again. So sit back relax and enjoy the weather because we cant stop it.

The two links should give you some ideas.

The first is a model green house. You cant afford to do everything they did right away it is only a model, but there are little everyday habits you can change to help the environment.

On the David Suzuki site take The Nature Challenge. Just for your own info, Dr David Suzuki's daughter,Severn, started an international environmental organization for children called ECO in 1990 when she was only 10 years old (see third link). So you are NOT too young to make a difference!

The most important thing you can do is make yourself knowledgeable on the subject. There are many ridiculous lies being spread by people who want to maintain the status quo. The first two links shows the most common lies, and the bad thinking that makes them believeable to the ignorant.

As with most things, you will find the truth easier to understand than the fibs some people tell to hide it.

Get this book (should be at most bookstores):

Down-to-Earth Guide To Global Warming
by Laurie David and Cambria Gordon

It talks about exactly that.
