How can you be clairvoyant and not believe in a God?
I have always associated with my abilities as being able to connect to the spiritual realm, and if there's a spiritual realm, there definitely could be a God.
Christians can believe in the paranormal

I learned to hate my faith, church, the whole nine yards by the time I turned 18. I spent the next 21 years away from God. I thought I was having fun at the time, but as I look back on my life, I realize I missed so much.
The bible warns us to stay away from the paranormal and all it entails. It's a way to open up what's called a stronghold, one that Satan can use to take advantage of you.
I'm not sure how you got in this position, but considering faith is one of the things that God puts at the top of His rewards lists, once you begin to lose faith, the Holy Spirit kinda goes on vacation and that opens you up to many of Satan's influences.
I know a lot of people will be congratulating you for opening up your eyes, but that's what Satan promised Eve. I can tell you from experience that what you'll see can be very seductive and spiritually unhealthy.
I'm not sure just how much of a Christian you were before. Going to church and wearing a cross doesn't make you a Christian. I've been there. Done that. When you put your heart and soul into trusting Jesus ... that's when you become a Christian. The difference is like night and day.
There's nothing wrong with questioning your beliefs in God. We all have doubts at one time or another until we take that extra step to believe in Jesus. All I can say is don't stray too far. It's a steep drop once you reach the edge of the cliff.
Satan sees you as a prize worth capturing – a doubtful Christian. That's something he'd love to rub in God's face.
But if you don't want to be Satan's pawn and you don't want to be stuck in the middle, just call on the name of Jesus. There's tremendous power in that name. Ask Jesus to help you understand what He's all about and Satan will have no choice but to flee.

My life was similar to yours in that I was raised in a fairly liberal Protestant church. I began questioning the existence of god in Sunday School, actually, and at quite a young age. I was never particularly devout or religious; as a teenager, my church-going was more a habit than due to a belief in Christianity, and after high school, I never really attended church again. I explored many alternative philosophical or occult systems (such as Magick, Tarot, Qabala. Astrology, Alchemy, etc.), and, although I found them interesting (particularly Qabala), I can not say that I came to believe truly any of them because I am essentially a skeptic; still, I consider myself agnostic rather than a nontheist. I can not regard the exploration of alternative concepts to Christianity or any religion as evil. If I believe anything, it is that one should enjoy the freedom to explore one's own mind and to make independent decisions regarding faith and dogma. I think that it is admirable that you are applying your intellect to question what you have been taught or told, since that is your right and the route to growth, both mental and spiritual. You should not fear the paranormal; if you are clairvoyant, that is a gift which should be nurtured instead of denied or suppressed. Good luck in your quest for understanding!

If I were clairvoyant, I would beg God to take that away from me. The Bible speaks against "curious arts" as an abomination and I'm sorry to say I think this falls into that category. along with ouija boards, levitation, hypnosis, astrology, etc. . I'm wondering if you were raised in a liberal or dead Christian church that did not teach this. Have you read the Bible? If not, I suggest that you do so, starting in the New Testament. Ask God to reveal Himself to you and His will for your life. By having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, who loves you and died for you and rose again, you can have a blessed life. I'm afraid that the devil will get a foothold in your life if you stay on the path you're on. I'll pray for you.

Questioning and quest is the start point of self discovery. Beliefs cant help us when we dont know it. Better we know it and then believe it.
Take for example John one of the Apostels. He did not believe the resuruction of Chirst. He believed only after he saw Christ physically and that also after he touched the wounds of made by the nails on the body of Christ.
So u c even a Apostel did not believe anything blindly. So by ernest questioning and keen to know the truth behind the truth can show u the door to the kingdom of God which christ mentions many a times in Bible.
Congratulations and All the best for u Quest to find the Ultimate truth.

Wow, very important question.
John 1:50 in the Bible gives us an example of a clairvoyant person, Jesus Christ. Let me explain...
In Orthodox Christianity we have a long and vast recording of the Saints that have gone on before us. Many of these people had this amazing ability. In Greek it's called Pro-oddessy.
The example where Jesus saw Nathaniel under the fig tree without physically being there is seen by many in our church as not a characteristic of his Divinity (remember, we believe him to be God and man) but rather it was an ability of his perfected humanity.
Please check out clairvoyant saints. I think you are drawing closer to God much quicker than the rest of us.
And please seek competent spiritual counsel (we all need it). A good Orthodox pastor will know how to work with you.
How exciting!
God Bless!

If you believe in God but not in religion you are a Deist.
Hang around here for a while, read lots of stuff, and you will learn so much it will boggle your mind.
Read the Bible where it tells about the flat earth, resting on stone pillars, covered by a mirrored dome with the sun, moon and stars affixed to the underside. God sits above the dome. When he gets mad, he shakes the pillars and makes earthquakes. Does this sound like reality?
You are wise beyond your years if you have already started to question religion. Follow your mind, use your reasoning abilities. You say you question your OWN religion, but it is not yours, it was taught to you. Find your OWN religion (or lack thereof), something you, yourslef, truly believe. Don't be misled by other people.
Here's a website that might help you wade through the Bible.

Good luck on your search for the truth.

It is a wonderful and terrible thing you are going through. To wonder at and about things and everything is Human nature. Sometimes it really stinks though because we do nothing but drive ourselves crazy. Then when we find the answer we thought we were looking for, isn't really what what we were trying to figure out at all.
Priests and Nuns even question their faith. If we as people don't question and wonder then we wouldn't have the beautiful answers to all things that we do have.
St Augustine Once said:
"God is more imagined than real, and more truly real than imagined. "
You can wonder without giving up your faith. Don't ever let anyone tell you different. I hope I helped.

It is entirely appropriate to question everything; you cannot do science any other way. Newton's mechanics was considered the last word in truth for over 200 years before an experiment showed that it was wrong. Now you need to question your belief in supernatural phenomena. If you can demonstrate true paranormal capability, fame and fortune can be yours, as such phenomena, although often alleged, have not survived scientific scrutiny. See:

Clairvoyant..."someone able to see beyond the range of normal human vision." (Encarta Dictionary)- Just how many prophets in the Bible does this describe, including Jesus? A lot! So question religion all you want but maintain your faith in God/Goddess and you will be just fine! Congratulations on your gift...use it wisely. Blessings!
