and watch the beautiful spirit lights dancing about my room. I have heard people say especially with children, they can see other children and end up having a invisible friend. Maybe the friend is not so invisible and it is only the adults who cant see them what do you think please don't all start shouting at me.

Suzie this might sound odd - but i truly believe children and animals are able to see things adults dismiss as their imagination...
I'm not speaking of evil spirits - our God is truly Awesome - and there are so many things we are unable to explain. If you watch some animals and study and live with them for yrs - we can learn a lot from them - God's creation is truly again Awesome....
jojo - bless you but this is one thing i'm absolutely sure of - and it's nothing to do with the one you mention...
added: my neighbour who is Christian saw her bedroom filled with bright lights the day her mum died - she was scared to tell most ppl for fear they might laugh at her - or worse condemn her - she told me b/c she knew i would believe her. God was reassuring her He was taking care of her mum. I'm not sure i would say the lights were 'spirit lights' - but if Suzie wants to say their 'spirit lights' that's her interpretation of her experience.

My daughters told me at an early age that, whilst in the bedroom of the house of three elderly aunts ,trying new dresses on, They saw a little girl by the window dressed in strange clothes (the clothes would be the long dresses worn about100 years ago) they said she asked if she could stay and play with them. An adult must have come into the room and the little girl vanished.
They are now aged 31 and 33 and still maintain it happened. the way that they described the girl was uncanny as they could not at that time known about the past.
Point being The three aunts had a sister who died at an early age through being kicked by a horse. Could it have been her?
i don`t think anyone can know the truth about these things as so many people have tales to tell. they can`t all be fibbing..

It's kind of like the red apple effect, which basically means if everyone says the apple is red, then it's red. Perhaps you've experienced this too? For example, have you ever disliked a song that was very popular and well-liked? But eventually it "grew on you" and you started liking it? What about a fashion trend that you started out wondering "why in the world would they wear that" but only a few weeks later, you liked it, not because you wanted to be trendy. but because everyone else in the world thought it was good, so you started to think of it in a different way then you would've had no one else liked it. It's kind of confusing. But basically, you're right.

Sweet Pea no shouting needed. Children can see things we can't. I do believe that. Some parents are small minder and don't believe such is true but it is. You have to think why does babies smile when they are sleep. They have to be seeing something good or they wouldn't be smiling. God Bless!

Sounds possible to me. I never had an imaginary friend and most of the people I know who had one acknowledged that it was imaginary...but that doesn't mean they weren't convinced of that by people who couldn't see their friend.
My best answer is, I don't know. Perhaps children do have a sense, one that becomes supressed as they grow older, that allows them to perceive spirits or angel (whatever you want to call them).

Children are known to be able to see some things that adults can't and I believe that is because children are purer then adults. I used to see some things as a child as well.

I would never shout at you. I believe that anything is possible. I also believe in spirits. Children are untouched and not judgmental...they would be the perfect humans for spirits to reach out to.

I think children might be able to see things that adults often can't. As long as their invisible friend doesn't try to get them to hurt anyone, I don't see the harm in it. They do tend to outgrow it.

Beautiful "spirit lights" are not imaginary friends, definitely not demons. They are guardian angels. My sister saw them as well, when we were children. Read some books on angels and you will be assured.
