dallas texas or dallas county.there are city jails and county jailsit all depends upon what jail you are wanting. the dallas city jail in now part of the dallas county jail. go to the dallas county web site and you can get jail information you need.if it is a jail outside the city and county they may still have the phone numbers for you. i retired from the dallasc ounty sheriff dept. if you need help just email me and i will be glad to help. there are no prisons in dallas. the closest prison is in hutchins,texas.that number can be found under the state numbers. the county jail may also have that info.again if you need help just ask.----retired texas deputy sheriff----the radio room number is 214-749-8610
