You read that right - the same "woman" who has disrespected our most basic law (the right to be a defined nation), and tried to use her own son (born AFTER she had illegally immigrated, and KNOWING the possible consequences of future deportation) to earn pity and help bribe the Government into letting her stay - is now petitioning the Mexican government to try making her a "foreign diplomat" to the US.
Let's get real - the illegal cockroach doesn't want anything to do with peace towards the US - she only wants to rub it in our faces that she was able to get back in one more time in at least some capacity.

CHICANABABY, your grandmother didn't fight no more than crooks fight to break in someone's home. Real immigrants who respect the law have worked a lot harder to enter this country than the illegal cockroaches ever have.

If Mexico is stupid enough to grant her this position, it SHOULD be taken as an act of war - at least by any sane government.
Of course, ours will probably welcome her with open arms as a "hero against oppression".
Sometimes Western countries are so stupid and suicidal I have to bang my head against the wall in disbelief.

The Mexican Government can do whatever they want, it won't matter. In order to be a diplomat in the United States you need a US Diplomatic visa (A1, A2 or G1 through G4). A diplomatic passport from any country is not worth anything without the diplomatic visa.
Last time I checked the US is still in control of who gets those visas, not Mexico. One key factor in getting a visa is you can't have been previously deported (especially twice).
Nice try guys, she won't set as much as a little toe here as a diplomat

Well, if the Mexican government is that stupid, hopefully she'll be declared "persona non gratta" immediately upon arrival and returned to Mexico. Along with the additional illegal aliens in this country.

This is stupid. This woman is a horrible example- not for coming here illegally (that is a separate issue to me), she openly defied an order from a judge. That makes me furious!
I think though that a diplomat has to be approved by his "host" country. Which, I pray Bush cant be bought into doing.

Absolutely ridiculous. Hopefully Bush won't bow down to the Mexican government and grant her amnesty. She belongs in prison for many reasons.
Below is a link to a story about some of our government officials putting in a bill to grant her amnesty, along with 30 plus other illegals. Such a waste of our money paying these traitors.

You didn't think she would just go quietly for the remainder of her days did you? Of course she will keep trying and right now is prime for her considering the amount of support she has managed to rally up with her story. The way things are lately, I wouldn't be surprised if she made it back here...legally. It's a crazy world lately....

I think she should wait in line like everybody else over there for a green card. Typical illegal alien thinking-do everything to sneak over here.[if she hasn`t done so already].

It won't matter if they do, we aren't required to accept their diplomats into our country. We can deport them at will as far as I know.
