What's your favorite beer? It doesn't have to be strictly american. From anywhere! what was the best beer you ever had?
Mine was a dark, midnight ale from Golden Valley Breweries in McMinnville, OR. Other than that, I often get a Guinness or a Kilkenney,

Labatts Maximum Ice. 7.9% alc and can only be purchased in Canada but still my all time favorite. Despite the high alc content extremely smooth so if you ever try it be careful you will be face down before you know it. First time I tried them they were so smooth I drank 6 in about 2 hours which would be like drinking a 12 pack of Bud in that time frame. Fun Night.

Samuel Smiths Tadcaster Porter for a commercial product.
My brother home brewed a batch of coffe/chocolate stout once that made me want to cry it was so good. Only a few dozen bottles though and he never got it right again. /cry
Favorite "just hanging out and drinking and playing cards" beer: Newcastle.
