Don't drink raw eggs. Are you crazy? You could get salmonella from just one. You realize that eggs aren't solid, they have tiny (nearly microsopic) holes in the shell, so when the mother hen poops, some of the feces particles make their way into the egg itself....and if you don't clean it, then you're eating egg with a small feces seasoning. Sounds tasty.
If you really want eggs, then cook them, or get those egg white capsules. For more help on foods that are good for you (and energy foods for workouts) go to www.dadamo.com.

This is a "luck" type answer.
You could get salmonella from the first raw egg you eat.
You may eat many and never get it!
Egg shells are slightly pourous, so there is a risk of the bacteria that cause salmonella entering the egg. This is killed when cooked, so that is why only RAW eggs are a risk.
The longer eggs are stored, the more chance they will be infected.
My fav drink as a child 40 years ago was an "egg flip":- milk with raw egg, spoon of sugar and dash of vanilla! Yum!
But this was made the day the eggs were laid.

The reason bodybuilders eat so many raw eggs is for the protein they contain. You need protein to build muscle mass. While it's easier to chug down several raw eggs at a time than it would be to eat the same amount of eggs cooked, every raw egg you eat increases the chances of you eating one that is tainted with the salmonella virus.
I suggest cooking your eggs, or finding other sources for protein. I've heard of bodybuilders eating several cans of tuna a day, or lean turkey, chicken, etc.
You could also check with a nutritionist or trainer to get more ideas and suggestions.

Raw eggs are not advised because of the recent outbreaks of certain diseases that could end you workouts forever. There are safer Body Building Supplement Powders that are available in Health Food stores. Give them a try. Avoid drinking protein shakes while working out. You want your blood to be available for muscle building, not digestion. Have your shake after your workout is finished. Using your muscles in a workout brings in fresh blood that nourishes muscle growth for that day. Overdoing it accomplishes nothing.

Only people who know how to do it drink raw eggs, like body builders and pro athletes. You should never, for the reasons the first person said.
