Not arrested per say but you can be detained, at least until police can confirm your identity.

Yes...and No. You can be arrested if you look so much like a person they are looking for (for a specific crime) that it is hard to tell the difference between you and the criminal. Hopefully if that happens you would be released after a short period of time.
However, you can not be arrested for looking like a "criminal type". If that were the case I know a lot of people who would be in jail!

If what you mean is arrested for resembling a known criminal, the answer is yes. If you mean getting arrested for merely looking thug like, the official answer is no...that would be profiling. Unofficially, if the officer truly believes you are up to no good, he'll arrest you to protect the public, and then come up with a charge.
Too many cops today are punks, dressed in SWAT suits, with their little black gloves and skin head hair cuts...if they would study history (can you say Nazi?) perhaps they'd understand why the current look is a little unsettling to the rest of us.

You cannot be arrested for simply appearing to be the kind of person that engages in illegal activities. There is a thing called 'probably cause' which works like this, if you have not done anything, and the cops have no reason to think you have done anything, they cannot arrest you.
Looking or acting or dressing a certain way does not give an officer probably cause to arrest you. They may suspect all they want but that doesn't give them the right to arrest you.

Arrested, no. Detained and harassed, yes at every opportunity. I would seek an attorney for a consult on this matter. You must know your rights even if you're not arrested. You do have a right to dress any way you choose. Just because a cop doesn't like it doesn't give him any reason to constantly harass you about your life. 1 or 2 times is a coincidence, anything more is just plain harrassment.

NO I DONT THINK SO. YOU SHOULDNT JUGE PEOPLE ON HOW THEY LOOK ONLY HOW THEY ACT. LETS SAY THAT U LOOK LKE A CRIMINAL BUT HAS NEVER BROKE A LAW IN OTHER WORDS A CLEAN RECORD. IF YOU KNOW THAT YOU LOOK LIKE A CRIMINAL AND YOU KNOW YOU MIGHT GET ASKED QUESTIONS AND THE ATTENTION BOTHERS YOU THEN CHANGE THE WAY YOU LOOK. IF THE ATTENTION BOTHERS YOU COOL STAY THE WAY YOU FEEL MOST GOOD ABOUT YOURSELF.

Depends. If you go into a bank with a shotgun in your hands and stocking over your face, then yes, you will be arrested - even if you don't actually rob the place.

Yes
The new Patriot Act allows the government to arrest and incarcerate you without telling you why and without due process.
This is not an exaggeration as much as I would like to believe it to be.
