I feel that way about every single person that passes away.. its natural.. Don't beat yourself up over it.. because she would not want you worrying about what you "didn't" do when she was with you.. you know?

Well yeah. It bugged me at first, but she's a mom. She knew you better than you know yourself in some ways. She knew you loved her.
Now wrap your head around this- I bet she had similar regrets about older people she lost, like her own mother or an aunt or grandmother or somebody. She probably once went through what you're going through, so I'm sure she would understand. She was older than you and probably wiser than you. I'm sure she knew where you stood with her regardless of anything you did or didn't do.
You might want to read a book by Mitch Album. It's short and sweet. It's called One More Day. It's about a sad retired baseball player who was sort of visited by his mothers ghost. Supposedly a true story. It might make ya feel better.

Oh........so many things I would have said or done differently. I wish I had listened more to her. I wish I had talked to her more. I wish we had had a better relationship. I wish I could have been there for her during all of her heart surgeries.......but most of all I would tell her how much I love her and appreciate all that she did for me, even if it wasn't what I wanted to hear or do. Now I am older and wiser and knew that Mom knew best! But I am a Christian and it comforts me to know that we will be together in Heaven for eternity! Maybe we can remedy that in Heaven. We have an eternity. That's really something to look forward to!
Oh yeah..........I would tell her that I was the one who stole her $5 and bought ice cream for most of the neighborhood kids.

I think everyone who has lost their mother does every once in a while.

Don't regret what you can't fix.
