I know that in California, there are schools for bar tenders. My niece's husband used to own and operate a school in the Ontario area.

A lot of community colleges offer courses on bar tending. My dad took one such course about 30 years ago, but my mom ended up finishing for him, as the company he worked for suddenly decided he was needed over seas. lol Being an analytical chemist, the bar tending course sounded like fun for my dad.

I remember that for their final, they had to mix certain drinks. As long as they had the ingredients right and everyone enjoyed what was made, they all passed. My parents still use the recipes they got from that class.

they offer classes at local colleges and in the newspaper you can find them at times.
trade schools might also.
you can look in the newspaper and, if you have something like this- the weekend bar/concert/do to around town kids of paper.
or call some local bars near you to see if they can direct you to some.
they cost about $300 ish in delaware
