They have a secret book that contains all the guidelines only give to the leaders of the Kingdom Halls (church) called Elders. It talks about such topics as sex, idolatry, masturbation, homosexuality, pedophilia, drugs, mental illness, marriage, blood issue, apostates, etc, martial arts. Basically all the do's and don'ts and what happens when you do them.

If you want their book called "Pay Attention To Yourselves and to All the Flock" just give me an email with your email address included.

When I was a JW, I was married to an elder. The "elder's book" was by no means kept on the shelf in our home, nor in the KH Library. I was told it was off limits to me....So, what did I do??? READ IT of course!! That was in the early 90's and I am sure there has been a revised edition as things are constantly on the ebb and flow. What is even MORE interesting in the letters from the service department at Bethel to the elders, usually the PO or secretary keeps them. My husband was a secretary for a few years and you know I read them too! Nothing in a religion should be secret, for if it is a secret then there is certainly something to hid. IF a religious organization has something to hid and you are a member, it would certainly be hoove you to read the organization's "fine print".

no matter what any JW here has said, their religion uses handpicked, out of context verses in the bible to correspond with their beliefs, as outlined in their literature.

it goes like this: read and answer questions in the literature, look up individual scriptures sprinkled throughout the chapter or article they're studying at that moment.

it is never read the bible by itself, read their literature as an aside. ever. the literature is as prominent if not more so than the bible.

Incidentally, the information in that booklet is basically the Operating Manual for elders managing a kingdom hall.

The real rules and guidelines for Jehovah's Witnesses are found in the Bible.

The book you are referring to is on hundreds of thousands of bookshelves in homes around the world. Hardly a secret!

It serves as a guideline to elders to enable them to better assist members of the congregation. Nothing more.

My dad was an elder and he had books that wwe were not allowed to look at regarding what methods that were to be taken concerning congregational matters.
