I'll appreciate it if someone can help me.

Ok, so about a week ago I got a job through a staffing agency and now I am already working. According to a staffing agency website, job seekers don't have to pay anything. And now the company I am working at give me a paper to sign that say that if i terminate my employment at their company, I'll have to pay on a prorated basis. That is even after 6 months of employement, which I know I can't quit before that.

I didn't know I'll have to pay if I want to quit. I never meant to stick with this company forever.

Is it like this with all agencies or have I been misleaded?

plz plz plz help

It was the company who gave it to me. I am afraid I already signed it.

I read the paper before I signed it but I must have over looked that part. Now I am feel bad because if I go talk to HR or staffing agency about it they would ask me why I signed it in the first place if I didn't understand it fully.

Reputable agencies in the US don't make job seekers pay.

Was it the agency or the company that gave you the paper to sign? Did you sign it? What did it say? Why did you sign it?

I would talk to the staffing agency about it right away.

candidates never pay anything so somthings awry. If it was the company that had you sign a contract then it could be a different story.
