Just as much as you're "afraid" to admit that it takes just as much faith to not believe in Quetzalcoatl as it takes to believe in Quetzalcoatl.

I don't know about that Q's but I do have a problem with people just throwing up that, There is proof against the christian God in the form of a contradiction filled bible. I have not run into Any contradictions so were do they get them? Every time someone tries to pull one out of context it is shot down with some clean logic. Think about it this book is was written 4000 years ago how crazy is that alone. And we have not made a better one yet?!? Does that mean if there is no God then man is getting stupider in how to live life. Is life only about 50 inch's of plasma TV? History books from that time are not as clear or as informative as the bible you have real life stories that check out. I think the book itself is a marvel to behold even if there was no God. But then maybe that's why it is what it is.

Afraid? No. Because it simply isn't true.
Tell me this: does not believing there's a giant pink ostrich in the next room take just as much faith as believing there isn't?

No, I would admit it if that were the truth. I am not ashamed to admit I have faith in a lot of things, such as I have faith my wife will not cheat on me. I have faith that I will not be fired tomorrow, I have faith in all sorts of things. I do not have faith that there is no God, because that is not my belief.. I lack belief in God.

I'm sure that for some of them it does but I cannot speak for other people's thoughts. In my case it doesn't. I am a man without faith. Faith to me is believing something without having a reason to.

are you serious? It takes no more faith me not believing in a christian God as it does for me not to believe in Zeus. Is that really faith or common sense?

Uh, it doesn't take any faith to NOT believe in something. (I certainly don't need any faith to not believe in the Tooth Fairy!) On the other hand, it takes a LOT of faith (or gullibility) to believe in something that can't be demonstrated by empirical means.

Stop if Maurice, are you afraid to admit you are being a little @ss trying to tell us who we are...when you aren't us to even be able to know what we think?
I think it's up to US to know and say what it takes. And no, it takes no faith. I've never had to put any effort of any kind into this...

No, because my lack of belief is based on examining the evidence and the claims about God made by the bible. No faith necessary.

Hi Maurice!
I admit that I have faith in scientists. I admit that I have faith in those who are intellectually superior to and better educated than I.
But it takes no faith *not* to believe in god. It is no stretch to not believe.
