Since 1 pound is 3500 calories, you need to loose 500 calories per day. According to this calculator running at 10 mph for 30 minutes burns 554 calories (Depending on your weight). So if you run for 30 minutes everyday along with eating right you should achieve losing a pound in a week. Hope this helps and good luck!!

You need to expend 3,600 extra calories to loose a pound of fat. That is between 3 an 4 hours of very vigorous exercise.

Roughly you need to burn 3500 calories per pound. So that can be obtained in 2 days or so if you push it ...But be sure to hydrate, hydrate, hydrate
