Well what kind of face do you have? Like if you have thin lips and want them bigger, use light, white eyeliner on them. On top where the little round part is and on the bottom under the middle. Then wear your lip gloss. Use some blush if your cheekbones aren't prominent enough. Maybe only put liner on the top lid if you want more attention elsewhere. It's a real clean, cute look. Also, lots of natural colored lip gloss. More than you would with another darker color. Its cute with the eyes. Maybe blend your foundation so it's darker (but natural looking, like a tan kinda) near the bottom sides of your face. Past your cheeks, you know. If you wanna balance your chin and jaw.

It depends, what do you want to balance?
For example, if you have large eyes, don't wear a lot of eye liner, just some maybe on the top lid. For small eyes, wear some on the bottom. If you have a larger nose, wear foundation, and don't wear a lot of eye liner. If you have large lips, flaunt it! If small, try some plumping lip gloss.

Hope I helped!

Depends on what's uneven.
1] eyes - pluck and shape brows so the are even on top, and
equal distance from eyes on bottom
2] line eyes if uneven - make lower or smaller eye line a teeny bit thicker to even out. [ works best if match mascara or eyelash/brow color ]. Only line where lashes are - not to inner corners
3] apply blush evenly to both sides
4] draw an even outline of lips with a neutral colored pencil - apply color over it
5] evening out nose is difficult - ask for help at a department store cosmetics counter

If you have small eyes, line them thinly with liquid liner for them to pop. If you have thin lips, use a plumping lip gloss and paint from the inside outwards to make them larger looking.
