It's made up, I guess they decided the best day to bother God was his first day back from his day off...

I am a Christian. The Bible does not say that you have to go to church every Sunday. It says not to forsake the assembling of yourselves together (Hebrews). It says remember the Sabbath.
That is all.
I do not make things up, nor do I lie.
I do not go to church every Sunday or even every other Sunday. I do go, though, and I am a good person.
Christians are not all liars. We are not all hypocrites. Most of us are really cool people if you would give us a chance.
Have a fun evening!

The Bible doesn't tell us we have to go to church every Sunday. But it does tell us to worship Him with other Christians, and what better place to have a large group of Christians than a church setting?

it does not say anywhere in the bible, that we should go to church on a Sunday, that's why I have started going to a Catholic Church on a Saturday. In the Bible it says"Remember, keep the SABBATH (Saturday) holy" I would like to know who agreed to have the SABBATH on a Sunday. Are we committing a sin by going to Mass on a Sunday?

It doesn't. Hebrew converts went to Sabbeth services at the synagoge, but met in secret to discuss Christianity on Sunday.
My studies and prayers have led me to believe that we should be keeping the Sabbeth, not the day after. The Bible calls the Sabbeth the holy day of rest, not Sunday.

The New Testament definitely advises us to meet together as believers, but my church has services on Saturday as well as Sunday, and we meet on other days of the week, too. If I catch a Saturday service, then I might go visit another church on Sunday. Church on Sunday is merely customary within many denominations, and is not a commandment. Don't forget that there are a number of Sabbatarian denominations (such as the Seventh-Day Adventists, Seventh-Day Church of God, and many others) that don't meet on Sunday at all.

It doesn't. It says, "Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching." (Hebrews 10:25). If you can't make it every Sunday, make it when you can; don't quit just because you can't do it every Sunday. Or Saturday. Or Wednesday. Or Friday night. Or whenever your church has services.

Excellent question. The Bible doesnt say to go to church every Sunday.
Actually, God doesnt live in a building made with hands in this dispensation of GRACE, but He lives in PEOPLE, who have believed in the gospel of our salvation and who have been placed by the Holy Spirit INTO the church, which IS His Body. It is a living entity comprised of Jew and Gentile alike , who have taken God at His Word and trusted in the finished work of Christ.
So...we dont GO to church...we ARE the church, and wherever WE go, the church is THERE.

sunday keeping is the result of the tradition of man, rather than God inspired instruction from the bible.(we are surpose to worship on the 7th day..thats when he rested and sunday is not the seventh day...its the first)
the real sabath is saturday..roman catholic sarted the sunday keeping and admit to doing so. for those who go to church on sunday and call themselves christian they really arent... cause if you are you would follow all the commandments and not skip the 4th (remember to keep the sabath day holy")
dont follow the crowd.

No where does it proclaim Sunday as The Lord's day. God blessed The 7th day Saturday Sabbath and sanctified it. Long before the Ten Commandments. Jesus gave the Commandments of God to Moses on Mount Sinai. To be remembered and revered by ALL men. Not just Jews.
The Sabbath is eternal as God is eternal. Perfect and unchanging. That is why Jesus said that He was also Lord of the Sabbath. And that it was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.
Jesus later summed up the Ten Commandments in two parts. The original commandments are two part as well. One about loving God (1st-4th). The other which is related because we are created in His image. Love your neighbor as yourself (5th-7th).
Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy Exodus 20:8.
God bless

No you are correct the Bible doesn't say we should attend a Church building every Sunday, Sunday night or Wednesday. I would personally attend Church services every day if we had them.
