i was wondering can you install a bmw engine into a 1997 nissan altima if yes then what engine and what year? if no then can you tell if there is anyother engine that i could use?

BMW are rear wheel drive and ? Nissan are mostly front wheel drive. Sell off the 11 year old car and think more safe better gas milage and buy a 3.5 liter V-6 2007+ altima with a CVT transmission. So many differences interfacing the instrument cluster to work and fuel systems that won't function properly. emission controls Nippondenso vs. Bosch it would take experts years just to get the charging and starting systems to work.
