If God created all things then he obviously created suffering. You may counter that it was Satan who created suffering, but who created Satan? Again you may counter Satan was an angel when God created him, but if God is all knowing then wouldn't have known that ahead of time? If it is our own fault that we suffer, then didn't God do a half-assed job on making us? Either God likes to have us suffer or he doesn't care that we suffer. So, is He sadistic or negligent?

God/dess just IS. If you stop assigning human qualities on something that it beyond comprehension you might be less confused.

Are you trying to be smart? This question gets asked about 10000000000x a day and switching around the words isn't gonna change anything.

God exists separate from us. Before us or anything that had a physical quantity to it, God still existed, therefore is separate from all things "evil" or "sinful".

So once we were created, God imagined two distinct possibilities emerging from that, either we do what God says, or we don't. It was in our hands. So what did we do? We decided the latter over the former.

You take ANY HUMAN BEING that is alive right now, and they would-all-do-the-same.

God is only loving, only caring and only forgiving. His anger is because He can only save those that accept Him and so He has to force it as best as He can.

None of this is His fault.

Satan was an angel, (which God created!) but that one angel (satan) wanted to over rule and become God! So God gave him his own palace for those who don't believe in God you will be sent to satan for the rest of time! And God is Love!! Oh and just because God knows something is going to happen ahead of time... doesn't mean that he has to change it! He knew that Satan would do that! And there was a reason for Satan! He's for those who don't belive that he is there!! And to kind of let people know that he is no joke!

Even though I assume that your question is legitimate and sincere, it is very blasphemous. I suspect, based on the summary after your question that you have not read a bible. Go did not create suffering, humans essentially "created" suffering, and those humans were Adam and Eve.

God made a perfect world for us, all we had to do to enjoy it was follow his laws and obey him. Adam and Eve did the opposite, and the rest of us that have come after Adam and Eve continue to rebel against God (religious or not, everyone sins, and that is rebelling against God) each and every day. Every one of us was gifted by God with a little thing called free will, it is exercised each and every day, some people exercise their free will by feeding the hungry, some people exercise their free will by killing children. But, there will be an accounting! There is suffering here in this world, but in God's home, there is only peace and happiness.

If you truly have not read a bible, as I suspect, you should, before you go around asking such questions. If you've read the bible and do not understand what you've read, get a bible concordance or speak with a clergyman in your area. For lack of knowledge people perish.

Thats a toughy, because no one can tell you that God is either good or bad. Only you yourself can determine that for yourself.

He has the ability to know ahead of time, for He created time. But sometimes, He chooses not to, because if He did, free will would not exist. He gives us the chance to make our own paths, He gave Satan his free will, and Satan took it and did bad. It would be wrong if God tried to stop it before it happened, because like I said, no free will.

He allows us to suffer now because he is proving to Satan that human beings can and will worship Him with their own free will. God could force us into being good by any means, but He doesnt because He wants to give us the chance to determine life for ourselves.

God is true Love and only Love... What is darkness but the absent of light...what is cold but the absent of heat. God created everything from nothing, but He is so perfect that gave us free will, sometimes our own actions makes us suffer. You will ask then, why good people suffer? To suffer in this material world is nothing if with that suffering you will gain eternal life in Heaven. If you are now suffering accept that suffering and offer it to God; if you are away from God, believe now in Him and your suffering will be lite. Jesus died for us with the greatest suffering, so you and all mankind do not have to.

Are you asking the right question?

The Buddha once said that believing that there is a god is a stumbling block on the path to enlightenment; AND that believing that there is no god is also a stumbling block on that path. We can never really know the truth about any of this stuff, because we don't have enough information. You can't suss out God by intellect, either because He chooses not to let us, or because He doesn't exist. Take your pick.

Personally, I try to believe in a god 3 days a week, believe there is no god another 3 days, and I take one day off for relaxation.

God is a sadistic and sick bastard, he probably enjoys seen all the people in the world suffering.
He can do what ever he wants and he choose that. There is no other explanation.
He created us on his own image, making sure we have our respiratory and digestive system in one opening so people choke and die while they eat (what a smart God). Does he need a nose to breath or a mouth to feed? Does he have hair?
Doesn't make any sense to me either

Oh Duuuuuh, we have this Question asked so many times by ppl who r uneducated, weak minded/hearted, dont u realise if God was to make eveything, everyone rosy, love dovey, disease free, poverty free & so on etc etc etc then what wud the point of life be?, point of having faith? point of we Humans & things existing? this life is a test, God gave us free will to choose how we lead our lives, God test's us in all ways, God tes's us to see how we help other ppl, how we & if we can have or keep faith, God helps them who help themselves. this life is temporary, this life is a test, if God was to make it easy for everyone to have a good life then what wud the point of judgement be? wat wud the purpose of this life at all be? ppl will get rewarded in the after life & aswell as be punished in the after life who do wrong, gosh wake up & smell the cofee, ur thinking like a 6 year old & even them know why to belive in God & why God is not doing that or doing this because he gave us to do what we want to do & thats the whole point of being judged at the end times, gosh, there r ppl out there who r suffering but still have faith, still pray, no matter what some ppl never give up, never lose faith because they know this life is not an enternity but thre next life is so be righteous as much as you can, help others much as you can, God is there to judge & guide, pray no matter what, pray even if sometimes the answer is no, but end of the day like i said next life is the true life, Peace.

Clearly your interpretation of the scriptures, or lack thereof, has blinded all reason and logic for you. "Suffering" can make us stonger or weaker depending on how we deal with it. This "trial of faith," as some people call it, and how we react to the trial will determine our "mansion" in the next dimension.
Better try next time.

Maybe there is something you are failing to understand.

"For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways," declares the LORD.
For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways
And My thoughts than your thoughts. "
Isaiah 55 :8-9

Incidentally, are you as quick to praise Him for every good thing He has given you so far?
Or do you only criticize?

God teaches the humble. The arrogant are on their own.
