Who was the first person to say, I'm going to eat the first thing that comes out of that chicken's rear end?
It makes me wonder....

I wonder about a lot of food items around the world. Who looked at a snail and said, "I wonder how that tastes?" "I'll have to call it escargot or folks won't eat it". "Is this mushroom non-poisonous, like tomatoes, maybe? (these were once considered poisonous)". "I believe I'll eat this dead cow, (or pig, etc) I just shot" (with an arrow, of course). Add rattlesnakes, lobsters, clams, etc. :)

Probably the same guy who started the debate about which came first. He claimed he "found" the egg so as not to look like a freak for eating something from a chicken's butt.

baack in the day they used to burn brush and fires would start and they had water to put them out with, then they had chicken to run around and the chickens sometimes would lay eggs and the eggs would roll into the water and the water was not thrown in the fire but placed on the fire and then after the ifre died out the egg was left and then they took the egg and threw it, it cracked open and out came something that made them feel good, a hard boiled egg! at least thats my take on it!
now ask about salt,, come on!

It's pretty unlikely that he saw it coming out. He's have had to be in an awfully uncomfortable position to do that.

He probably ran across it in a nest.
