Pioneer? Samsung? Sony?

im looking for the one with the best quality and gives you the best picture.

I'm assuming your looking for a standard DVD player. So, I'll recommend the Oppo brand. It's unknown to most but it's highly regarded by audio/video enthusiasts. It's rated higher than players costing well over $1000.

Otherwise, get a HD-DVD or Blu-Ray player; they both do good upconversion on regular dvd.

Pioneer and Samsung are good. My company has both. I don't know about Sony. I would presume Sony is good too.

The one that can play the three versions (standard, HD DVD and Blue-Ray) such as the LGBH100.
