Kissing is not something one does in order to fit in. It's an expression of affection between two people who think the person they are kissing is extremely special.
And no, there's no deadline for kissing.
By the way, virginity and purity are precious things. Do not throw yours away just to prove a point. You shouldn't feel bad or left out. It's your friends with the busy lips who should be ashamed, not you!

When you find someone who is respectful and whom you won't regret kissing. And who won't give you diseases you can't get rid of. Everyone matures at a different pace, some may be ready for a serious relationship at 16, while some may need to wait until they are in college. If you are in high school and peer pressure is driving you crazy, you may feel like you're the only one missing out, but in a few years, you won't even remember feeling anxious about not having had your first kiss by a certain age. I have a friend who started everything very early, (not uncommon in France where I grew up) out of insecurity and loneliness stemming from family dysfunction, and she's been miserable on and off her whole life. Then her challenge a few years ago, as she was pushing 30, was to get married, at all costs. She did get married but trust me, not many would envy her situation.
Remember this: people talk a lot but may do a lot less. And people who get physically involved too fast with a lot of different partners are not necessarily examples to follow. They may appear cool, but are for sure dysfunctional and immature in some way.

Molly, I realize that you may feel left out here, but I want you to realize something very important.
Your first kiss is not just an accomplishment. It should be special. And let me tell you that later on in life, you will want it to be with someone you really liked.
My first kiss was with a guy who later turned out to be gay (he divorced his wife because he was in love with another man). It kind of ruined it for me. Looking back, I wish I would have waited because you will always remember that first guy you kissed.

I don't think there is a time limit, but its unusual to not have it by the time you're in you're 20s. Some people are just late bloomers though, so as long as its when you're ready for it then its the right time.

Dont feel left out just because you havent had your first kiss. YOu should treasure it and save it for someone special and that you'll remember for the rest of your life.

that depends when YOU want to have your first kiss. thats going to be something to treasure forever, you don't want to just rush into it. and just because you're older than everyone else when you get it, doesn't mean you're ugly or fat or anything. it means you took the time to make it special.
