when the bible told abraham that he would give his sons followers and things of that nature didnt he include his son he had with the maid woman when they had ishmael.
Then when abraham sent the maid and the son away god said he would set a group of followers for him as well.
Isnt the founder of ishlam the son of abraham?

So maybe we follow moses, noah, and jesus and they follow who ever they were taught as prophetsare right too.

Ignoring the fact that you're not a Christian, yes the founder of islam was a descendent of Abraham. This of course, doesn't make islam the path to god. If you truly follow Jesus, you will reject Islam.

This is a re-run, but I only have one answer to questions like this.
No matter how the Bible is analyzed, it is flawed. Strictly discussing only the New Testament, translators had complete discretion over content. If a story wasn’t complete, multiple stories were woven together to form one book. Pieces were moved around and put together like a puzzle. When a turn of a phrase seemed to even slightly disagree with the Church, it was removed in its entirety.
We now know that multiple scrolls of material, intended to be included as part of the Bible, were carefully hidden instead. This was necessary to avoid destruction of both the authors, and the information.
Scripted Codices, have slowly been discovered. They’ve been carbon dated and authenticated by experts to prove they were written at the same time the Bible was written. Numerous experts believe these writings were intended to be part of the original Bible. However, it is also true to say that these compositions are still the cause of great debate.
The New Testament was written two centuries after The Christ was crucified. Before the Bible was let loose to commoners, these powerful people had just simply raped it.
When one controls the religion of a people, they then control those people. This is why it was so important to make sure the Bible only told the stories approved of by the King and his Church. It also explains the hiding of certain texts. If anything written even smacks of freedom for the common man, it must be destroyed. For if it was found that the King was not god, the King could loose his ability to control his kingdom. As the translators were loyal to the King, the Bible was edited very carefully indeed.
Speaking only of the New Testament, the Bible remains one of the very best set of life instructions known to man. There is only one, most important law. It is: To love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your might, and to love thy neighbor as you love yourself. If this Law is followed to the letter, it isn’t possible to break even one of the old Ten Commandments.
When Jesus was born, all prophecies from the Old Testament were fulfilled. The Old Testament passed away with the first coming of the Christ. The Ten Commandments were no longer relevant. This Commandment was the only one needed in order to not sin, and live as God wants man to live.
Blessed Be

Abraham son Ishmael was cast off. He then became a prophet for the relgion islam. Even though he did not found this religion, he is a big prophet. This is where islam splits from the jewish faith. The islam people believe that the birthright is with ishmael not issac. So Jews Christians and Islams all have the same "father in faith", Abraham.

That would be the war we're now In ...Issac & Ishmael. But Sarah became jealous and sent haggar off to the wilderness, not Abraham. It was Sarah's Idea to have Abraham to have a child with Sarah's handmaiden. SHe didn't wait on God. God promised Abraham a child and that He would be the father of many nations.

Sometimes you need secular history to find the end of the story.
Ishmael would have retained favor with Abraham if he and his Mom Haggar (the Egyptian) had kept their mouths shut.
They rebelled against Issac and his inheritance of the birthright.
He would still have been a rich kid, instead he was a braying *** of a man.
When Abe finally had to kick them out he also built them a city and gave them riches as well. Same heritage twelve tribes.
Abe never forgot them or left them to die as many claim.
No Ish had nothing to do with Islam which didn't come for centuries. No Moe wasn't anywhere near the man Ish was. I would hazard that Haggar turned him to the Egyptian Gods. If not the only other God he knew was his fathers.

God kept his word and blessed both sons of Abraham in number, but only the descendants of Isaac were given the inheritance of belonging to Him. Look at that part of the Bible closely. God said that the sons of Ishmael would be wild and violent, hating the descendants of Isaac, inhabiting their land, and living on all their borders. Have you ever seen a Muslim distribution map? Muslim territories are huge and completely surround Israel, which appears as a tiny speck, and Israel is inhabited by Muslims. Yet she stands strong in the promise of God.

Our "Free Will" was given Us by God as a part of the Plan for the settling of the Angelic Conflict. This allows Us to either be Positive or Negative to Bible Doctrine. U can worship a cow if U want!!! Of course for "Every Action, there is a Opposite & Equal Reaction" lest we should Forget!!! John

Yeah, you're right, Islam is from Abraham and his son Ishmael. I forgot the whole story, but that is the connection with Abraham and Islam.
