the Onion is a satirical website... just look at some of the other stories they have there...

Take light of it mate. We Brits have enjoyed satirical comedy for years, although It's easy at first glance, for some people to take offence!
Maybe its just me but I like humour in most forms, Even if includes "taboo" subjects! Thats all they are, - forms of humour!
