Does that mean you don't have free will? Because your entire existence would be against your will.

Interesting how philosophical questions cause so many to begin equivocating, double talking, and generally dodging the question.

The short answer is -- yes.

I would find a way to solve the problem. This is a very real possibility for me, as I could easily develop the same cancer my twin did. She died a horribly painful death. Now I know that pain medicine has made a lot of progress in 17 years, but still. I do not want to die like that. I do not want people I love to have to see me suffer, and I refuse to be a burden to anyone. I also do not want to die alone, in a hospital.

I would find a way to get help.

I believe that the gospel is based on action. God will not do something for you, without you doing your part. So you would have to be willing to blow yourself away before it would happen.

Man, if I could stop the existence of things just by willpower, I'd eliminate so many things. Number one would be mosquitos, then politicians, then stupid people. I would eliminate politicians before all the other stupid people just to make a point.

Yes, that means you don't have free will. Free will requires ultimate control over your existence, even you wish to end it. Free will is also invalidated by the fact that we have absolutely no control over who our parents are and what place and society we're born into, which are the biggest factors in determining who we are.

He knows better than you do. That feeling will pass, you will eventually know joy again. He knows your future already and what your life will lead up too. I used to ask for that sort of thing myself, and I used to wonder the same thing, it's not until I look back that I see why it was allowed and an unanswered prayer.
