Shouldn't God send people to correct the ways in which so Christians have bent and distorted the bible.

Who do you think are the true Christians these days? Or who do you see as messengers of God today?

This is what Jesus said:

"But do not be called Rabbi; for One is your Teacher, and you are all brothers.

"Do not call anyone on earth your father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven.

"Do not be called leaders; for One is your Leader, that is, Christ.

"But the greatest among you shall be your servant.

"Whoever exalts himself shall be humbled; and whoever humbles himself shall be exalted. "

Matthew 23:8-12

As Christians, perfect doctrine is not what unites us, but rather faith in Jesus Christ and love for one another according to His commandment.
According to the teachings of Jesus, we accept the authority of the Scriptures, Old Testament and New Testament as the basis for all doctrine.

It is true though it clearly is not complete. Christian persecutions in the early days of the church included burning of many of the sacred writings from the prophets.

What remained for us is the Bible. This collection is not only incomplete but totally adulterated by the early church removing aspects of it that are not in accordance to their belief.

With an uncomplete book before us and the false notion of it being perfect, many people are left to interpret the book using their own wisdom. Different interpretations led to different beliefs.

Sadly, there is only one way for the Bible to have its credibility again, either another ancient scripture surfaces with related content (like the Dead Sea Scrolls) or another prophet is called. We may need the other books spoken by John in the last few verses of his book in the New Testament.

This will be a blow to many churches built to this day to get gain.

Yeah, I know... cut/paste... but it can't be explained any better than what "gotquestions.org" (see below) states... and here is just a part of the article... please read the entire thing to understand fully...

But make no mistake: we, as believers, must be of one mind on the essentials of the faith, but beyond that there is great deal of latitude in how a Christian should worship in a corporate setting. This latitude is what causes so many different “flavors” of Christianity. The Presbyterian Church of Mbale, Uganda, has a style of worship much different from the Presbyterian Church of Denver, but their doctrinal stand is the same. Diversity is a good thing, but disunity is not. If two churches disagree doctrinally, debate and dialogue over the Word may be called for. This type of “iron sharpening iron” (Proverbs 27:17) is beneficial to all. If they disagree on style and form, however, it is fine for them to remain separate. This separation, though, does not lift the responsibility Christians have to love one another (1 John 4:11-12) and ultimately be united as one in Christ (John 17:21-22).

... I hope this helps... Have a blessed day!

Oh.. as to the "messengers of God" today, I can think of one rather "large" one... and that would be Billy Graham. His son, Franklin, who is "taking over the reins," is also cut from the same cloth.

The true Christians are those who have the Holy Spirit of God within them and they have the seal of His Covenant. Jesus stated in the book of Mark chapter 16 verses 15-21, Go ye in all the world and proclaim the Gospel , making disciples and those who believe and is baptized, shall be saved and those that believe not shall be judged and these signs shall follow them that believe in my name, shall you cast out devils, speak with new tongues, have power over the elements of the world, if you drink any deadly thing it shall not harm you and you shall lay your hands on the sick and they shall recover..
The only reason there is so many sects is Satan trying to bring division by strife and hatred by Deception. But those who believe contrary will make up the Apostate Church which will be governed and controlled by the Antichrist. He will cause all to be marked in order to buy or sell anything. Those who receive it pledging their loyalty to the son of Satan will not enter heaven's glory. Go to trumpetmin.org click could this be the mark?

The true Christians are the one's who follow the rules of what God says by his words. His words are in the bible but many people have translated in their own way of life. If you live life in the way the Bible describes it you are a true Christian. Amen.

It's about free will and choice, i believe that the true believers are Non denominational we fully study the bible and live by it not by someone who makes up stuff to sound right. Everything in life seems to have some type of label the many denominations of religions, they are even doing it to atheists now.

There are so many denominations due to human pride and sin.

People distort the Word of God to make it say what they want it to say. He said that would happen, so here we are.

A true Christian , is the one who adheres to the dictates of his denomination.

The Bible was sent to all the humans. It was interpreted differently, and that made different sects. But we all have one aime , which is obeying Jesus. So, we r all true Christians.

Good Luck!

As to should God talk to us, Yes. How? The bible says He will speak through his Prophet. We had them for 2,000 years. Then Jesus Christ came and set up his apostles as prophets until they were killed off. Do you think he might call someone else in our time? I suggest he has. Look for an organization who claims God has spoken in our times. Explore what God supposedly said. Test it out for yourself. He will guide you there. And yes there are ordained missionaries willing to help you learn.

Humans tend to organize themselves into "clans," which believe that "we are right, and the rest of them are wrong."

The "true Christians" are those who believe as I do. Anyone else is the slave of Satan and condemned to eternal fire.

People cannot agree on something as simple as how to approach a yellow traffic signal. It would be impossible for them to be of one mind about something as vague and unknowable as "the Bible God."
