When you mail your ticket in and pay the fine, your ticket is reduced a few points, so that it reads something else on your record. What does running stop sign "change" to in Colorado?

I ran a stop sign and the *** hole wanted to give me an eight point ticket but 'generously' reduced it to a two point if i remember right. I took it to court because the guy was a jerk but I think the two points was the reduction, in court they told me if i took an online traffic course it would go down to one point (which i did), or I could drive to Denver and do a two day course and the ticket would be 0 points but the fine remained at fifty dollars regardless, plus I had to pay for the course.

Whatever it changes to is kind of irrelevant, it still counts as a conviction for failing to stop at a stop sign.

Not enough to look forward to. Colorado doesn't LIKE redlight runners... :(
