I have long hair, and I want to get it cut, but I also have "chubby cheeks" And I was looking at a photo of when I had the "bob" and my face looked fatter to me. Do you think shorter hair somehow makes your cheeks appear larger?

yes and no..
okay, the long and short of it is (pun intended) higher hair makes the face look longer (ie, cheeks smaller) long hair and short hair can make the face look rounder, unless it is higher on top.
definately avoid bobs!! those are the round faced girls worst enemy!
if you style the top of your hair with a little body and height, you wont have a problem with shorter hair..if you just let it lie flat..you will.

I got a layered bob mid-neck length or something like that and i have chubby cheeks but it made my face look thinner

Yes it definately does. Shorter hair draws more attention to your cheeks and makes them look bigger. Long hair enlongates the face to make it appear thinner

Chin length hair won't make your face look fatter if done properly. Keep it close at the sides, not full. Full sides will add width that you don't want. Also, keep height in top. This will elongate the face, making it look thinner. And avoid bangs, as they shorten the face and make it look wider and fatter.

it depends on your face shape and type of cut. my face is oval, and i just got 7 inches chopped off (but i had an assymetrical cut) and my face looks the same! in fact, bc i'm petite, i look more proportioned.do some research on face shapes and best hairstyles that will fit with diff. face shapes. if your face is round, you can cut it short, but to make it look thin, you may need your stylist give a little defintion around the check bones.

Well then your hair is all at one length, together and so it is short. It kind of groups around your face to get the impression of chubby cheeks.

It most definitely DOES. Longer hair elongates the face, making it appear less chubby.

I don't know what you're worried about. You look great now and you'll look great no matter how you cut it...and no your face won't look fat...and I don't think you have huge cheeks either.
