The dog is a female dog. She damn near rips the underwear to shreds.

My Mom's cockapoo did it too!!! When he was a puppy though. Then as he got older he didn't go looking for dirty underwear like he used to. Hahaha thats funny that yours is a cockapoo too! Maybe it has something to do with the breed. My basset does too but doesn't eat the underwear and would totally pick a dirty sock over dirty underwear. Wish I had the answer, but I don't.

Because they smell good and taste good to the dog. If you've ever been out in the country, dogs love to roll around in anything that stinks. Have you seen a dog eat dirty diapers? They all will if given the chance to get at the garbage. Make sure you know where they have been when you let them lick your face!

I don't think I've ever met a dog who doesn't find dirty underwear to be appetizing.

Because it's a hearty concentration of the person's smell! Socks and stinky t-shirts are also at risk for being shredded...

ok, my Rottie (when he wants attention, of course), comes running into the living room, my panties in his mouth - he knows how to open the drawer. He has decided that he likes the clean ones too!
This is VERY EMBARRASING!! (but funny too)
