I give my basset apples, bananas, peaches. But only as a treat in small amounts. He eats 1/2 banana a day...he just LOVES them. Just don't overdue it as it may upset his stomach. No, it shouldn't hurt him/her.

Well I give my dog bananas. He loves them. Actually he waits for someone, in the morning, to open a banana and give him a piece. It is not bad for him, actually it makes their coats healthy and shiny!!

Dogs are omnivores,non-citrus fruits are OK.

Always start with a bit and see how they react. Some dogs have sensitive tummies. As long as it is tolerated well, it should be fine...as long as it is not a replacement for their normal diet.
