despite the fact that he acts shy, this is just the way he may be. he might be able to open up more to you but naturally this just might be his nature.
remember that men are not as social as women. studies show that women talk 30% more than guys. this guy your interested in just needs a chance.
my suggestion - encourage him to talk more. ask him questions like, "so what do you like to do for fun?" it might give you a chance to do something that he likes and then he might be more talkative.
i think the key is to let the coversation go where it does. if it seems like he doesn't want to talk that much, don't force it. he might still be trying to open up to you or it's just his nature. give him a chance.

Give this time, men are not as open as women. He probably do not know how to open up to you or he is just warming up. But do not pressure him men hate pressure and they seem to run from it. Dont give up on him! Put yourself in his shoes. He probably had bad relationships all his life just ask his history in a nice way and find out more about him.Think about it if he was to scared he would not be talking to you. Be patient. have a good day!

You definitely should give him your time! You should feel good, I mean he obviously likes u sooo much that hes actually all shy around u. Anyways he seems like a good guy, like hes not gonna act like a jerk to u, but instead be really sensitive and good to you. You should try and lead him more, since his too scared to make the moves u should try and make him feel as thou u r interested. Ask him if he wants to go out or something..."just as friends for now" just to see how it goes between u guys...
Good luck

give him time. for shy people it takes awhile to get to know the other person. i have a friend like that. it took him 4ever to open up. now i can't get him to shut up sometimes...lol..just give it time. it also helps if you make him feel comfortabl where yall are hanging out at or over the phone. joke and laugh with him. just don't push him. he will come out of his shell sooner or later. good luck!

YES, OF COURSE GIVE HIM TIME. He is wanting to find out more about you and respecting you . Would you rather a pair of hands all over you and making you feel uncompfortable? He is doing the right thing.

Can you just be friends? Take the seriousness of potential boyfriend/girlfriend out of the picture and just be a friend. When you do, shyness tends to flow away.

well think like this what if you pass him by, you might always be left with the what ifs, that wont be good, and who knows if you just hang in there he just might be the best thing that has taken place in your life, or the worst, so i think just give him a chance

you should give him the time of day if you both like each other. just talk to him and be honest . just tell him he doesn' thave to be so shy around you. maybe it's just nerves. if you tell him to relax maybe it will help. sometimes guys just need to hear it
