Walk around with your stomach super sucked in. It'll help you get better posture. If you wanted to you could also put tape connecting your shoulder blades to keep them back but that's a little weird.

Yoga and Pilates are a great way to get great posture! You can get poses and stuff off of the internet or get a dvd or book. Also just keep reminding yourself throughout the day to straighten your back.....eventually you won't have to remind yourself anymore

1] pushups - strengthen arms, shoulders, chest, and back
2] situps, obliques, crunches - strengthen all three sets of abs, and corresponding back muscles
When you have to sit for a long period of time [ homework, computer ], put a small pillow in back of you, so you can't lean on chair.
On car trips, put a pillow in small of your back to maintain posture, and do neck rolls at rest stops.

Pilates & yoga help strengthen your muscles & improve your balance which leads to better posture.

Wear shoes w/ good arch support so you have a steady gait and good balance when standing.
