I receive many resumes via email - in fact I prefer them. I look at each resume thoroughly - if the qualify I print it and call them for an interview. If they are borderline I retain them for backup interviews if I do not find the right candidates. If they do not fit the profile I am looking for right click - delete. A cover letter is definately a bonus. The resume must be informative and organized. It must be easy to read and in a good format. Hope this helps.
