My fiance already has a good idea of what she wants to wear. I am still in a quandry. The wedding will be different, meaning no tuxedos, white veils etc.
We are doing things differently, because we want to. No following the sheep for us.
So what are people's suggestions for me as the groom and my groomsmen, my two scruffy nephews?

Our wedding was totally casual. I wore a cream colored dress, and the wedding party men wore black floral hawaiin shirts with Khaki shorts, and the women work skirts casual black skirt with white top, or vice versa. All the guests were told to wear very casual clothing. Shorts if they wanted. It was a beautiful wedding and people said it the most comfortable fun wedding they had ever been to. It was at a golf course. We had lunch meats and cheeses and a full bar. Total blast.

If he's donning denims, can he a minimum of purchase a sparkling dressy pair so which you do no longer seem as though he got here on your wedding ceremony ten minutes after tearing himself faraway from the storage? He could desire to have some freedom of cloth wardrobe determination yet he additionally should admire the special occasion you're making plans. On a thoroughly separate notice, lord help the babies.

Wear Khaki pants with a white button down shirt - no tie and a blazer. Make it kind of business casual. The blazer can be navy blue or a light color to match. Or you can wear a fun colorful tie and ditch the blazer. Really you should ask your fiance what she wants you to wear. I'm sure she has an opinion or can point you in the direction she prefers. Since you don't really know or care you should just follow her lead.

Just wear halloween costumes or go the other way and make it a nice beach party, where everyone can wear bathing suits, it would be really different to get bathing suits that were popular in the 1920's. It would be a REAL party.

Why don't you dress up as a knight or some costume that still looks appropriate.Like a royal or prince from the middle ages. Like the idea of doing it different.

Kilts! There is just something about a man in a kilt. Look on Ebay or the local costume shop.
Just remember, one of the reasons we women love kilts, is that there is nothing under them.

Well what's your fiance gonna wear? And how differeny is your party...will you for instance permit people to come in swimming suits :)?
Maybe you can just put on something elegant if it's just a little party...an elegant shirt and some regular pants or something.

A nice pair of slacks, light-colored shirt,
suspenders or a vest, and a bow tie.
Casual, different, but still classy.
