Hi. Denon have always been consistent and have won many awards for their design and sound quality in their Receivers.The DENON AVR-2105 is available in your price range and looks to be a good buy. Just keep in mind there are many other brands in your price range with similar specifications. You would have to go to the next level to get a better sounding Receiver. The problem with Receivers is the preamp -processor ,tuner and 5 or more power amplifiers all have to share the same power supply.The needs of the power amps affect the preamp,which is the heart of the system,and any small distortion introduced into the pre-amp will be amplified by the power amps and passed onto the speakers.Anyway,here is some info. on the Denon.

ive been happy with yamaha home cinema amps for £300 i would be tempted to look for a discontinued model which would still be a good product

UK? check out richer sounds. New equipment, last years models. Good quality cheap. Find them in directories.
